About the “For Justice” Journal

The first printed leaflet published by the ACHRC in 1989 bore the title “Struggle for Homeland and Justice”, aimed at human rights protection and education. The small-format leaflet (1/8 print) primarily reflected materials focused on this direction.

Starting in April 1997, the leaflet’s size doubled, and by August, the human rights-focused newspaper transformed into a magazine (3.5 print size) and began publication under the new title “For Justice”.

Since April 2003, “For Justice” has been included in the list of journals accepted by the Higher Qualification Committee of the Republic of Armenia for publishing dissertation results.

The journal is published in Armenian, and since February 2003, articles have included summaries in English, and from May of the same year, in Russian as well.

The composition of the editorial board has changed several times.

While primarily a legal journal, “For Justice” also publishes diverse articles and other scientific materials related to human rights, “Civic Education”, and the “State and Law” academic disciplines.

The editorial team of the “For Justice” legal-methodological journal not only carries out the publication of the journal but also significantly contributes to the overall publishing activities of the ACHRC.

The publication of the journal has been supported by several local and international organizations.

We hope that the “For Justice” journal will leave its mark in the history of the Armenian press, remaining loyal to its role and purpose of raising readers’ legal awareness.
