ARMENIAN HUMAN RIGHTS SCHOOL’s (AHRS) EDUCATIONAL CONCEPTION HAS BEEN REVISED
In January 30-31, 2010 a workshop aimed to revise the Armenian Human Rights School’s (AHRS) educational conception was held at the ACRPC Educational Cultural Centre, in Vanadzor town, Armenia. The workshop was guided by Mr. Manouk Mkrtchyan, one of the founders of the Collaborative Teaching Methodology (CTM), RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science. Among the participants were representatives from the UNDP and OSCE Armenian offices, RA National Institute of Education of MES, specialists from the Evaluation and Testing Centre, AHRS trainers and graduates, teachers educating HR from various regions of Armenia and librarians of ACRPC Human Rights Library Network. During the two-day workshop, with the help of productive discussions of the recommendations of evaluations of local and international experts of past years, Armenian Human Rights School’s new educational conception draft has been elaborated in which AHRS’ vision was drawn by formulating the directions of its activities for the next 5 years (2011-2015).
